There’s a new sunset beach bar on the scene in Samui. Located in the exclusive and secluded bay of Taling Ngam, Beach Bar @ Flames is one of the best spots to watch the sunset in Samui. From 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm there’s happy hour on classic cocktails and beers.
It’s a great place to take the family. You can sip rosé as the kids play on the quiet beach between bites of: deep fried chicken wings with spicy sauce and fried banana chips; BBQ marinated pork with pickled ginger and cabbage; lamb kofta with rosemary, garlic and cumin; pizza-style bruschetta with mozzarella, mushrooms, and tomatoes; and beef skewers served with grilled lemon, capsicum and BBQ sauce.
This bar has a casual yet chic feel. It’s similar to what you would find on the beach at Bophut, but it’s more secluded and less touristy. So if you’re looking for a place that is away from the Samui crowds, this bay is it.
The sunset is incredible. It is an event in itself here on Samui. The best way to end the day, is with a drink of your choice, some bar bites with your toes dipped in the sand as you sink into the comfortable lounge chairs spilling out on the beach.
