#1 What were the highlights of your trip to Samui?
I have been travelling to Samui for so many years I’ve lost count but can honestly say that every visit has been special with so many wonderful experiences.
On our latest trip the highlight was definitely the few days we spent at InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam. That first sweeping view of endless blue on blue vistas studded by green tropical islands was jaw-dropping!
Our beachfront villa was amazing, the service 100% perfect, the spa treatment heavenly, the food delectable, and the Club Privileges such as afternoon tea and evening canapés and cocktails the perfect final touch to what was a first-class interlude.
Best dining experience was the toes-in-the-sand dinner at Flames with a fantastic open-air charcoal grill cooking an incredible amount of the freshest seafood which is my favourite food. The spectacular fire twirling show was the icing on the cake of a memorable evening.
#2 What’s one thing everyone should experience when visiting Samui?
Definitely get out to the Ang Thong National Marine Park, a pristine area of beautiful islands for a day of snorkelling in the amazing waters.
#3 What’s your number 1 travel tip for Samui?
Go there more than once because once is never enough and get out and enjoy all this island offers! Always do your research to make sure the hotel you’re thinking of booking will live up to your expectations. There’s some wonderful resort hotels on this Garden of Eden and all offer different benefits so make sure you book a hotel that meets your holiday criteria.
