The kids’ club experience
This kids’ club on Koh Samui is more than watching cartoons and playing video games. Your kids will know that they are in Thailand. There are coconut and palm leaf crafts, a resort eco-tour, traditional Thai games, and beach soccer under the coconut trees.
Planet Trekkers is part of InterContinental’s signature kids’ club experience. Kids are grouped from 4-7 years and 8-12 years. You can also utilise the resort’s nanny service for kids under 4 years of age if you’re thinking if vacationing in Samui with a baby or toddler.
The kids’ club is located right near the beach. Just across is a play area with swings and slides for little kids. There’s a ping-pong table outdoors and the infinity pool is a short walk from the club, so you won’t be far away as you drink pina coladas at the pool bar between swims. There are some activities that are offered at an extra cost and include: a cooking class, hair braiding, nail painting, and an eco-seed planting experience.
There’s enough at this resort to keep kids entertained in the club and when it’s closed. There’s the beach, the playground by the infinity pool, seven different pools to swim in, family water sports, tours of the marine national park, an ice cream hut on the beach and more.
The resort experience
The resort is spread over 22 acres. Villas and suites are scattered across the cliff side; all have incredible ocean views. In the family suites and residences there are bunk beds for the kids, a table for drawing and reading and a toy box.

If you’re staying in one of the residences on the cliff, there’s a buggy service that will take you to the beach every day. Your kids might love walking across the suspension bridge to get to the beach, too. The family pleasure package caters for the whole family- cooking class for the kids, massages for the parents and a two-hour babysitting service to use whoever you want during your stay.
